Book Review: Imperfect Angel by Monique Grant

If you want twists and turns in a world that almost seems fantastical then pick up Imperfect Angel by Monique Grant. During many parts of the book I sat on the edge of my seat wondering will Angel ever tire of drama, sex, lies and deceit or did she live for it? Angel’s high sex drive and ability to sexually please her men is dazzled throughout the storyline. Will she marry again, stay faithful or lose her mind all together, I thought as Angel bounced from relationship to relationship while her baby grew up in the shadows of it all. Imperfect Angel was an action packed book that once it peeked, you better hold on, the ride was tumultuous. The sing-song tempo pushes you along and engages you in the plot. Sometimes the scenes were so filled with action I got a little lost in dialogue but quickly recovered. However, if you’re looking for action, sex and love triangles this author won’t let you down.
